JRS Firearms Safety Training

This is a two-day 16 hour class that Includes Basic Pistol Mechanical and Operations for Maryland HGP Requirements.  The class includes Maryland and United States Law, reciprocity, adjacent jurisdiction permits, Use of Force, Conflict Resolution, Safety, Storage, and Suicide Prevention Awareness. Range Qualification is part of this class. Application process is detailed. This class is for both Maryland resident and Non-resident.

Maryland HQL Training is 4 hours that includes Maryland and United States Law, Use of Pistol, Safety, Storage, and application process..The HQL would allow one to purchase, and transfer regulated firearm in Maryland.

This is a one-day 8 hour class for existing HGP current and seeking renewal that Includes a subset of the HGP class. The gold standard for Pistol Training. This instructor led course prepares anyone form novice to expert for the information and skills to meet the high standards for the NRA course. This course may be the first step towards one becoming an NRA Certified Instructor.
